Move Over, Kraftwerk
It never ceases to amaze me; the capability ensconced in the human body, that is.
I so admire a person who hears words and sees sounds. They are the brilliant right brain thinkers who create beautifully unique tapestries out of words and concepts. They can’t think outside the box, because they don’t know what a box is. And for that, we should be grateful. They’re the ones who feel pain when they’re made to think linearly…if thinking that way for them is even possible.
The guy who composed the video you’re about to see is one such being. I’d bare his children if I still had a functioning matrix.
I love people like this.
Long story short, I’d like to introduce you to minimalistic synthesized pop (albeit kitschy) for the new millennium. It’s composer did so simply by using the default sounds in Windows XP and 98 as his instruments. Basic sounds; the stuff we hear when we 404 error something, he applied rhythmically.
Be sure you listen all the way through. At the end, you’ll hear the raw sounds used to create this opus.
It’s incredible, really and I give it an 86 for the beat, Dick Clark.

Wow! How creative.
To have the gift to build beauty out of not much of anything. Amazing.
