Simon Webbe’s “Coming Around Again”

Released late last year, “Coming Around Again” is an interesting piece, musically speaking. It’s a happy, optimistic little number that’s an amalgam of a tiny bit of Reggae, a healthy dose of pop and Gospel, with a dash of R&B.

The song fared well in the U.K., Simon Webbe’s home country.   Got has high as #12.   It also made some headway in The Netherlands and Germany, but fizzled everywhere else. I don’t think it even charted here in States.

I’m not sure why either…it has such a great energy to it.

Listen to it. If “Coming Around Again” doesn’t get your motor running–even a little, then you’re dead.

Happy Long Labor Day Weekend, Comrades!
